Houma authorities looking for suspects that shot man, stole his vehicle

The Houma Police Department is looking for three men that shot a victim multiple times and stole his SUV.

Houma Police were called to the Terrebonne General Medical Center after a man entering the facility with an apparent gunshot wound at 12:38 a.m.

Through investigation it was determined that the victim, described as a 40-yr-old male, entered the medical facility with a gunshot wound to the shoulder and one to his thigh.

Initial information obtained indicates the victim was approaching a residence within the 200 block of Naquin Street in his light-colored Chevrolet Tahoe when three black males approached him at gunpoint.

The victim exited his vehicle and took off running and was apparently shot by the suspects. It is also being reported that the victim's Chevrolet Tahoe was taken. It can be described as a silver Chevrolet Tahoe bearing Louisiana license plate #VJW 507.
