Home invasion suspect arrested in Lafayette

Late last night, Jacoldy Fox, 22, was arrested at a local convenience store in the 300 block of Verot School Road by deputies with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office along with the U.S. Marshal’s Violent Offender Task Force for a home invasion that took place on September 13, 2012, in the 1900 block of Smede Hwy., in St. Martinville.

Lafayette Police Department also assisted in the apprehension of Fox.

The incident remains under investigation by the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office and more arrests are pending.

Fox was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on charges of Armed Robbery, Aggravated Kidnapping, Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property and Simple Battery.
Simple Battery

His bond has been set at $500,200.00 and he remains incarcerated at the time of this release. Anyone with information regarding to this incident is asked to contact the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office at (337) 394-3071.
