A multi-agency investigation has led to the arrest of a Harahan man accused of distributing child pornography, announced the Louisiana Attorney General’s High Technology Crime Unit.

64-year-old Layton Gray, of 832 Clearview Pkwy., #311, was arrested Wednesday as a result of a joint investigation involving the Attorney General’s High Technology Crime Unit, Homeland Security Investigations, East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney’s Office, and Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office. Investigators with the Louisiana Attorney General’s office booked Gray into the Jefferson Parish Prison on three counts of distributing pornography involving juveniles. The Jefferson Parish Sherriff’s Office separately charged Gray with four counts of possessing child pornography.

Gray is charged with violating a state law forbidding a person to produce, distribute, possess, or possess with the intent to distribute pornography involving juveniles. He faces up to twenty years in prison on each count of child pornography.
