Hammond man arrested on theft charges

HAMMOND, La (NBC33) —
On June 22, Tangipahoa Parish deputies arrested Jonathan Johnson, 19, on charges of theft.
Upon arrival, deputies learned that Johnson stole a cell phone and charger from a neighbor. As deputies placed him into custody, they located several while oval pills and suspected marijuana in his pockets.
It was also learned that he had two outstanding warrants out for his arrest. At this time, Johnson was charged with Felony Theft, Possession of Marijuana and two outstanding warrants.
