Hammond drunk driver gets 12 year sentence

HAMMOND, La (NBC33) -- The man responsible for three deaths because of a drunk driving accident was sentenced to 12 years in jail today.

Derek Quebedeaux pleaded guilty in November 2010 to killing three people in Hammond in the hit and run accident. The 22-year-old was facing up to 100 years in jail. Today a judge sentenced him to twelve years.
