BATON ROUG, LA (NBC33) — Jeffery Guillory is sentenced to life in prison.

That for the 2002 killing of Renee Newman. Guillory is already serving 50 years for attempted murder. He has also been accused in the deaths of two other women in the Baton Rouge area. Guillory's sentencing was originally set for November, but was pushed to Wednesday because of a personal emergency involving one of the attorneys in the case.
