Gretna man arrested on fake marijuana charges

On the morning of July 8, deputies with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office Street Crime Enforcement Team, (S.L.I.C.E.) conducted a routine traffic stop on I-10.The driver, Marwan Hijaz, 24, was nervous throughout the traffic stop.

A search of the vehicle found approximately 22 pounds of Synthetic Cannabinoid (Synthetic Marijuana) inside of the vehicle and over $4500.00 dollars in cash.

Hijaz was charged with Possession With Intent To Distribute Schedule I CDS (Synthetic Cannabinoids), No Motor Vehicle Inspection, and Following Too Close.He was subsequently booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the above charges.

This is outrageos! I will see to it that Bobby Jindal and Rick Perry both get brought up on charges of intrastate racketeering and Title 15 Anti Trust Laws, Monopolizing the trade a felony!
