BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — The man convicted of killing his wife will spend 40 years behind bars.

Greg Harris was convicted of manslaughter in the death of his wife, Chiquita Tate. She was found stabbed to death in her law office in 2009.

Prosecutors had sought a conviction of Second Degree Murder.
