MANDEVILLE, LA (WDSU) — Mandeville police said they’ve taken a graffiti vandal off the streets.

Detectives said they got a Crime Stoppers tip that led them to Marion Hall Lyons IV, 20.

Police said he confessed to spray-painting symbols and words on businesses around Mandeville.

Lyons gave police cans of spray paint and a notebook of his drawings.

Lyons will be booked on five misdemeanor and three felony counts of criminal damage.
