GONZALES, LA (NBC33) — Ascension Parish Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 44-year-old Gonzales man for holding close family members in their home against their will for five days.
Richard Miley, 44, of Gonzales was arrested and charged with false imprisonment, domestic abuse battery, simple criminal damage to property, and parole violation on February 24.
The victims said that Miley had held them captive in their home for five days. During those five days Miley had also damaged the interior of the home. The victim’s added that Miley had been living with them for the past eight months and seemed normal during this time, with the exception of the last five days.
