French Quarter shooting suspect arrested

New Orleans, La (WDSU) — New Orleans Police have a man in custody in connection to an early morning killing in the French Quarter.
Jamal Claude, 27, was arrested and charged with Second Degree Murder.
Police say that a man was shot multiple times in the 300 block of North Peters Street at 3:30 a.m. and died at the scene.
After locating the vehicle believed to be involved in the killing, police were involved in a brief car chase with Claude before finally arresting him.
Police say they believe the killing stemmed from an argument between the victim and Claude earlier this morning at a lounge.
