Franklinton Resident arrested in child pornography investigation

As a result of Troopers’ continued commitment to the aggressive enforcement and investigation into online child exploitation, Louisiana State Police Region I Detectives have arrested a Franklinton resident for possession of child pornography.

On April 18th, 2012, detectives conducted a search warrant based on a proactive child exploitation investigation at the residence of Noel Johnson, 33, of Franklinton, Louisiana. As a result of the investigation, Troopers identified Johnson as the individual in the residence downloading images of child pornography. Through further investigation, Troopers discovered 28 different computer files which contained images and videos indicative of child pornography.

Johnson was charged with 28 counts of Pornography Involving Juveniles and booked into the Washington Parish Jail.
