St. Mary Parish, La — Agents of the St. Mary Parish Narcotics Task Force were patrolling the Franklin area, when they observed two subjects sitting on a lot at the corner of 10th and Pine St.

Agents conducted an investigative stop, and during investigation received consent to search subjects.

During the search, they found a partially burnt marijuana cigarette and drug paraphernalia on suspect’s person.

James, 51, was arrested on April 23 for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
