Four men found guilty of gang raping juvenile at party

COVINGTON, LA — Four men accused of gang raping a 15-year-old girl at a party were found guilty late Monday, announced Attorney General Buddy Caldwell.
A St. Tammany Parish jury convicted Michael Ayo, 25, Clayton King, 22, Derrick Maise, 23, and Brett Ward, 27, with aggravated rape and attempted aggravated rape for their role in a 2008 incident involving a 15-year-old girl at a home near Madisonville.
Sentencing is set for May 17 before Judge Allison Penzato. The aggravated rape conviction carries a mandatory life sentence.
Assistant Attorneys General David Weilbaecher, Jr., Michael Bollman, and Molly Balfour prosecuted the case.
