Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — A former fire chief is sentenced to over 5 years in prison for having child pornography.

Former Gueydan Fire Chief Troy Leblanc was sentenced on Friday in a federal court.

He pled guilty back in October when he admitted he was a part of explicit chats over the internet with a person he thought was a minor.

The person he was really talking to was an undercover officer posing as a 14-year old girl.
