Fluker man arrested for distributing hydrocodone

On Monday, Feb 6 agents from the Tri Parish Narcotics Task Force and Tangipahoa Parish Office Narcotics Division arrested Joseph Williams, 43, of Fluker, Louisiana for Possession of a firearm while in possession of Control Dangerous Substance.

Agents conducted an investigation of illegal distribution of prescription medication on Williams. They made contact with him and found him in possession of $2,671 in cash one Hydrocodone.

During the investigation, agents located one Ruger P-97 firearm; two pill bottles with label removed containing 2 suspected Vicodin, 31 suspected Loratab, 5 pills of suspected Ecstasy (MDMA), 40 suspected Xanax. Agents located one purple cigar holder that contained 68 suspected Roxycodone.

The narcotics seized have a street value of approximately $2,040.
