BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — Baton Rouge Fire Investigators arrested Johnathan Allen, 26, of Baton Rouge. He’s accused of setting fire to a house located on the 100-block of McGehee Street.

Baton Rouge Fire officials say they saw Allen walking out of a building that was just set on fire.

Officials tell us the fire was started in the abandoned building’s bathroom. Most of the damage was caused by debris that had been set on fire. Crews were able to extinguish the blaze quickly, so very little damage was done to the structure.

Allen is charged with one count of Simple Arson.
