Father gave son gun in New Orleans shooting

NEW ORLEANS, LA (NBC33) — A father and his son are both wanted for the shooting death of a 36-year-old man in the New Orleans area.
The shooting happened March 30 about 7 p.m. near the intersection of South Burdette and Colapissa streets.
Officials with the New Orleans Police Department say Kelly Scott, 25, was involved with a verbal and physical altercation with the victim. We’re told that after the confrontation was over, Scott left the area, then returned a short time later.
Soon after, his father, Kevin Rhea, 53, arrived with a handgun that he handed to his son. Kelly Scott then used that gun to fire at the victim, who was running away. One bullet struck the victim once in the buttock.
Kelly Scott is wanted for Aggravated Battery and was previously arrested for Illegal Firearm During a Crime, Aggravated Rape, Aggravated Sexual Battery, Kidnapping, Crack Distributing, Possession of Marijuana, Battery on a Police Officer, Flight from a Police Officer, Domestic Violence, Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle, Trespassing, Criminal Damage, Theft, Disturbing the Peace, Battery, Possession of a Firearm wit a Obliterated Serial Number, Warrants and Traffic.
Kevin Rhea is wanted for Aggravated Battery and was previously arrested for Aggravated Battery, Contributing to Delinquency of a Juvenile, Possession of Marijuana, Battery, Theft, Obstructing a Public Place and Traffic.
