BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — A Baton Rouge father called police and reported his son after he found illegal drugs in his bedroom.
The Baton Rouge Police Department was contacted on Wednesday, June 19. When officers arrived at the home, he showed them a box in his son’s bedroom. It contained marijuana and a spoon with blue powder residue (suspected Oxycondone).
According to the arrest report, the suspect, Kammer Vignes, 18, was not there when this occurred. Officers left and returned at roughly 2:00 p.m. when he came home.
When officers arrived, Vignes was sitting on the front porch. However, he quickly jumped up, went inside the house.
Acting on the permission of the parents, the officers questioned Vignes about the illegal drugs that were found in his room. He allegedly confessed that they were his, and also admitted to having Adderal in his shirt pocket.
Vignes was arrested and charged with two charges of Possession of Schedule II (Amphetamine, Oxycodone) and Possession of Schedule I (Marijuana). He was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
