Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — Early Saturday morning, a woman was shot and killed walking down West Polk street.

BRPD said that four friends were walking down West Polk street around 12:30 p.m.

The four were approached by three suspects, an argument ensued, and one of the suspects started shooting at the four, hitting two of them.

One man was shot multiple times, but survived his injuries when taken the hospital. Another victim, a woman, died due to her injuries.

This shooting is still being investigated. Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 344-STOP.
