Farmerville man could face up to 460 years in prison for possession of child pornography

A Farmerville man was arrested Friday for possession of child pornography.

On July 19, 2013, investigators with the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations arrested Danny Riley, 22, of Farmerville in Monroe.

The arrest was a result of a search warrant which was conducted at the residence in Monroe on Tuesday, July 16, 2013.

Investigators found that Riley had used internet connection at the home to access juvenile pornography.

During questioning, Riley confessed to downloading the pornography onto his computer while visiting the residence. Investigators seized Riley's computer.

He was arrested and booked into the Ouachita Parish Correctional Center for 23 counts of pornography involving juveniles.

If convicted, Riley faces up to $1,150,000 fine and 115-460 years in prison without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence.
