Eunice, La — A concerned citizen walked into a St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office Substation and told deputies that a man was damaging trees on the premises of Charter Communications.

A deputy saw Kenneth Cart removing flowers from the premises of Miller and Miller Ophthalmology and saw him leave the area on a bike. He then detained the suspect until Eunice Police arrived.

Cart admitted that he did not have permission to be on the property of either business or permission to take any of the flowers in his possession.

Cart was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief, Criminal Damage to Property, and Theft.
