A 41-year-old man has been arrested for committing aggravated incest with his 7 year old stepson and 13 year old step daughter. He was also caught in possession of drugs.

Mohamed Muftah of Eunice is accused of committing sexual battery against his stepchildren over a two year period. The Eunice Police Department launched an investigation after several complaints were made against Muftah.

We’re told the children admitted to their mother about what was happening. Investigators say the children report that it all started with inappropriate touching, which then escalated over time.

A second investigation was launched against Muftah in regards to his business, Amigo’s Market in Eunice. Narcotics officers learned that Muftah was selling illegal synthetic drugs at the business.

Undercover agents purchased the illegal drugs at the business, which was captured on video and audio surveillance devices.

Muftah was arrested and booked with Sexual Battery, Aggravated Incest, Distribution of Synthetic Marijuana, Distribution of Drug Paraphernalia, and Violation of Uniform CDS Law (school zone).

Muftah was booked into the Eunice City Jail.
