EMS: No shooting victim found at scene of robbery call

UPDATE: In reference to the reported shooting at the Capital One on College Drive, EMS reports that no victim was found. We’re told that a man called 911 saying that someone had attempted to rob him in the parking lot of the Capital One bank. He told police that he had shot the robber in the chest. When EMS and Police arrived on scene, they were unable to locate a victim.

The Baton Rouge Police Department tells NBC33 News that when they arrived they did not find the caller, or the victim. They say if the caller is found, that invidividual could face charges.


ORIGINAL: EMS confirms that a man was shot in the chest during a robbery attempt at a Capital One on College Drive. There’s no word whether on the association of the victim to the bank.
