BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — Police are looking for a man who stole over $16,000 from the Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center.
Larry Dale Butler, 49, of New Orleans, allegedly used two corporate credit cards to spend $16,201.53 for personal use.
Don Coppola, a Baton Rouge police spokesperson, says Butler started working at the cancer center back in June of 2014 as a facilities manager, but was fired on August 11, 2014.
According to investigators, Butler admitted to the hospitals’ human resources department that he was responsible for the charges, but he has not made any attempts to reimburse the company.
Butler is now wanted on Felony Theft charges.
