East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Detectives are looking for a woman who allegedly scammed money from people by placing an ad on an online listing site.

According to reports, an unknown black female rented out a meeting room at a local hotel. She told hotel staff her name was Angela Johnson-Daniels and stated she needed to rent out a room at the facility to conduct interviews and testing for employment applicants. The room was rented for August 28 and 29 with a credit card. The credit card used was not valid and was later declined by the company.

Five victims reportedly responded to the online ad seeking employment. When they met with the woman at the hotel, they provided with their personal information and a fee for an employment contract, application and background check. The woman left with the information and money. The contact numbers she provided were disconnected.

The suspect is described as black female, wearing a blue top and black pants.
