The sheriff’s office is offering a $10,000 reward for information that will lead to the arrest of those responsible for the drive-by shooting that killed a seven-year-old child on August 16, 2014.

Sheriff Sid Gautreaux asked for the public’s help during a press conference on August 20, 2014 saying:

“We must come together as a community to ensure that this senseless killing does not go unpunished. I am calling the community to rally around this family and stand against this meaningless violence. Someone out there knows something. You need to come forward.”

Investigators have a new surveillance photo of a “vehicle of interest” that was driving down Prescott Road at the time of the shooting.

Terez Coleman, 7, was killed when someone in a passing car shot at his family’s car.
