EBRSO offers $10K reward in case of drive-by shooting that killed 7-year-old
BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — The sheriff’s office is offering a $10,000 reward for information that will lead to the arrest of those responsible for the drive-by shooting that killed a seven-year-old child on August 16, 2014.
Sheriff Sid Gautreaux asked for the public’s help during a press conference on August 20, 2014 saying:
“We must come together as a community to ensure that this senseless killing does not go unpunished. I am calling the community to rally around this family and stand against this meaningless violence. Someone out there knows something. You need to come forward.”
Investigators have a new surveillance photo of a “vehicle of interest” that was driving down Prescott Road at the time of the shooting.
Terez Coleman, 7, was killed when someone in a passing car shot at his family’s car.
Anyone with information concerning this incident or the identity of the suspect(s) is asked to contact the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office at 225-389-5073.
