EBRSO looking for woman with baby seen using stolen identity

BATON ROUGE, La (EBRSO) -- East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Detectives are looking for a woman in a case of Identity Theft, Fraudulent Acquisition of a Credit Card and Theft.

According to reports, a woman used someone else’s identifying information to apply for and receive a Pep Card through Pep Boys at 9704 Airline Highway on December 13, 2010. The suspect was given a line of credit and used it t o purchase four electric scooters for $933.04. Surveillance shows an unknown black female with a baby making the fraudulent purchase. The suspect was driving an older model white Chevrolet Impala and had the scooters delivered to a residence off of North Foster.

Anyone with information concerning this incident or identity of the suspect is asked to contact the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office at 225-389-5000.
