EBRSO looking for woman seen trying to use counterfeit money
BATON ROUGE (NBC33) — East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Detectives are looking for a woman that attempted to purchase merchandise using counterfeit money at the Siegen Lane Target on April 1, 2014 at approximately 4:30 p.m.
According to reports suspect then presented the cashier with (11) twenty dollar bills which were checked for their validity via a counterfeit detector pen. While marking the notes, the pen detected the notes to be counterfeit and the suspect was asked to wait for Loss Prevention Associates. After hearing this, the suspect left the register, leaving all currency and items behind, and left the store in an unknown direction.
The suspect is described as a white female with black hair, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighting 125 pounds, and wearing a black dress.
