East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Detectives are looking for a woman who allegedly walked out of Wal-Mart with $4,536.18 after scamming a cashier.

It happened on May 8, 2014, around 6:00 p.m. at the Wal-Mart on North Mall Drive.

Police say the woman told the cashier she was a customer service representative and that she instructed the cashier to load money onto debit cards by hitting the “cash out” button. She did this for nine transactions of $500 each.

As a result of these transactions, Wal-Mart reportedly took a loss of $4,536.18.

The suspect is described as a black female wearing a blue jean jacket with a white under shirt.

Cashier was probably reprimanded as well, more than likely fired. Wal-mart tends to do that, even though they do not teach proper ways to handle scammers and professional con-artists, it's the fault of the employee no matter how badly they were trained.

They only tell you how to avoid those scammers and con-artists AFTER the fact that it happens. I'm glad they lost money.
