East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s detectives are looking for a couple seen using a stolen credit card that was taken from Beth Claybourn’s Interiors on Highland Road on January 31.

According to reports the victim was shopping at the store and put her purse down. The purse was later missing and a review of the surveillance tape showed a man and woman enter the store and later leave.

The same man and woman were captured on film that day using the victim’s stolen card at the South Mall Drive Wal-Mart to purchase a Kindle Fire, 2 Wii Game Consoles and two gift cards. They were then seen using the card at the Cortana Mall Wal-Mart to purchase a cell phone and a PS3. Items totaled $2,221.

Anyone with information concerning this incident or the identity of the suspects is asked to contact the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office at (225) 389-5000.
