Early morning robbery in Hammond has deputies seeking public's help

Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards is asking for your assistance in gathering information regarding an armed robbery which occurred at approximately 4:00 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 6.

The robbery took place at 46376 N. Morrison Rd. (Tycer Mini Storage) while an unsuspecting male victim was loading his work truck with materials. Two unknown black males approached the victim at gunpoint and demanded money. Both suspects were dressed in dark clothing with one of the suspects wearing a mask.

After taking the victim’s wallet and business bank deposits, the suspects fled on foot from the scene.
