Drug investigations lead to four arrests in Reserve

After receiving information, the St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff's Office initiated two investigations that culminated with the execution of two search warrants and four arrests.

On Friday, April 26, narcotics detectives executed a search warrant at a home in the 200 block of East 26th Street in Reserve. Detectives recovered a bottle of Promethezine with Codeine with the label removed, a handgun, two magazines for an assault rifle, drug paraphernalia, and cash.

Dwayne K. Nicholson, 42, of Reserve, was charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of a Firearm With an Obliterated Number, Possession of Schedule II CDS, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Kemone J. Clofer, 21, of LaPlace, was charged with Possession of a Firearm With an Obliterated Number, Possession of Schedule II CDS, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia . 

Kewain Tripps, 21, of LaPlace, was charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of a Firearm With an Obliterated Number, Possession of Schedule II CDS, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Parole Violation. 

In a separate narcotics investigation, narcotics detectives executed a search warrant on Friday, April 26 at a home in the 1000 block of Gemini Street in Reserve. Detectives recovered approximately $1200 worth of marijuana, pharmaceutical drugs, and drug paraphernalia. 

Cyrus P. Nicholson, 30, of Reserve, was charged with Sale/Distribution/ Possession of Legend Drugs Without a Prescription, Distribution/Manufacture of Schedule I CDS, Distribution/Manufacture of Schedule II CDS, Distribution/Manufacture of Schedule III CDS, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
