Sorrento police have arrested Nicholas Lewis, 32, and his wife, Kristen Lewis, 25, after the couple barricaded themselves in their Lee St. home in Sorrento for hours.

Sorrento Police received an anonymous tip that three persons were engaged in a drug transaction and responded to the location provided.

The Lewises evaded officers initially and got all the way to their Lee St. home where they barricaded themselves inside.

After several hours, Nicholas Lewis surrendered himself to Sorrento officers, who held him at gunpoint until he could be restrained.

Kristen Lewis was also arrested and the couple were initially arrested and charged with Child Endangerment, as well as outstanding warrants concerning earlier domestic abuse charges.

The couple’s two small children were found in the home and taken into the custody of Social Services.

The third suspect, Chester Muse, was charged with Possession of Marijuana, Cocaine and Heroin With Intent to Distribute.

This is an ongoing investigation.
