Baker, La (NBC33) — Police are investigating the death of a man found early this morning in Baker.

43 year-old Abelardo Domingo Pampo was found shot to death outside of the Baker Civic Center on North Magnolia Road by police at 5 a.m.

According to investigators, Pampo was found by a ride-along officer, who was patrolling the area.

They are looking for any information that can help them solve this crime quickly.

"We will seek out the person or persons responsible and bring them to justice,” said Randall Dunaway with the Baker Police. “We're proactive here in baker and we take our crime serious."
