Couple arrested for cashing counterfeit checks at local businesses

BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — Two people have been arrested wanted by police for allegedly cashing counterfeit checks at businesses around town.
James Tullos, 44, and Tammy Torina, 33, have both been charged with Felony Theft, Forgery, and Monetary Instrument Abuse.
The couple had been wanted since January 23 by both BRPD and the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office.
