Copper thieves on the loose in Livingston Parish
Livingston Parish, La (NBC33) — Two copper thieves have stolen more than $12,000 worth of the precious metal in Livingston Parish.
Livingston Parish deputies say the copper was taken from the construction site of the new E-Federal Credit Union located on Magnolia Beach Road.
Livingston deputies tell us they're looking for two white men, about 20 to 25 years-old, driving a 2000-2004 low-riding, maroon and gold Chevy pick-up truck.
Deputies say one of the men pretended to use the ATM while the other man loaded copper into the truck.
