BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — Convicted serial killer Derrick Todd Lee wants a new trial. Both sides of the case arguing that on Wednesday, Oct. 12 in a Baton Rouge courtroom.

Lee's attorneys say there are lots of problems with the prosecution’s case. No word on when the judge will make a decision.

Lee was sentenced to death in the 2004 murder of Charlotte Murray.
