ST. GABRIEL, LA (NBC33) — Officials have released this new picture of an inmate who escaped from St. Gabriel on New Year’s Day.

The reward for information leading to the location of Keana Barnes has increased to $5,000. We know Barnes hitched a ride to New Orleans after she escaped. Officials believe she may be in the Marrero area.

Barnes is serving a 25-year sentence at the Louisiana Correctional Institute for Women on a charge of Manslaughter.
