Collection of 24 LSU Championship rings stolen in Livingston

The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance from the public for information leading to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for a residential burglary in which 24 individual LSU and SEC Championship rings were stolen. The crime occurred between 5:15 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on Nov. 30, 2011 at a residence south of Denham Springs. Each of the rings, designed for a man, has the name Wagner engraved on the inside and embossed on the outside. Several pieces of women’s jewelry were also taken in the burglary.

The rings were designed to commemorate Football Bowl Games, Football National Titles, Men’s Basketball Championships, Women’s Basketball Final Four Tournaments, and Baseball Championships.

The victim in this crime would very much appreciate the recovery and return of this very unique personal property that is valued in excess of $50,000.00.
