BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — The First-Degree Murder trial against Baton Rouge rapper Lil’ Boosie seems to be moving ahead of schedule. On day 6 the prosecution rested and the defense called no witnesses.
The case was originally anticipated to last two to three weeks.
Earlier the prosecution called its final witness, District Attorney Hillar Moore. Moore confirmed that he made an agreement with Marlo Mike Louding that he would get sentenced to "something less than life." That's if he cooperated in several murders he's accused of committing. He also confirmed that it's common for interrogators to not record interviews and to lie during those interrogations.
Closing arguments will begin tomorrow, Friday, May 11. If convicted of First-Degree murder Lil' Boosie faces life in prison.
