The Baker Police Department is trying to track down two men who are wanted for questioning in connection to the burglary of a local convenience story.

On Saturday, May 7, the Circle K located on Groom Road in Baker was robbed of twenty-five cartons of Winston and Marlboro cigarettes, totally over $1,500. The clerk at the store says two men broke two beer bottles on the flood, and when he went to clean up the mess, that’s when the men got away with the merchandise.

The duo have also been connected to the attempted burglary of a second Circle K store located on Plank Road.

The men were last seen in a small, white, two-door sedan with a sunroof. One is short in height, wearing a white T-shirt, baseball cap, and faded gray jeans. The second is tall in height, wearing a white shirt and blue jeans.

If you have any information related to this crime or the whereabouts of the two suspects, contact the Baker Police Department at (225) 775-6000.
