C.A.T. team busts meth lab in Moss Bluff

On June 24, detectives with the Combined Anti-Drug Task Force (C.A.T. Team) conducted an investigation at the mobile home of Troy E. Williford and Robyn A. Williford, both 49, of Moss Bluff, after multiple reports of drug activity at the mobile home.

After receiving consent from Troy Williford, detectives conducted a search of the mobile home and located several chemicals consistent with the creation or operation of a clandestine lab and suspected methamphetamine, as well as drug paraphernalia.

Detectives also discovered a 13-year-old girl inside the mobile home, who was removed and placed with family members.

Troy and Robyn Williford were both arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center. Both are charged with Creation/Operation of a Clandestine Lab, Possession of CDS II (meth), Possession With Intent of CDS II (methamphetamine), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Cruelty to a Juvenile.
