ALBANY, LA (NBC33) — An Albany man who has been arrested at least 18 time in the past was arrested again on Tuesday for possession of six pounds of marijuana and several “assault type” weapons.
The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Chad V. Lefevre, 32, after conducting a search of his home. They found the six pounds of marijuana along with an Uzi sub machine gun (with a homemade silencer), an AK47 assault rifle, a Mac 10 sub machine gun, a 12 gauge modified shot gun, and a semi automatic hand gun
We’re told several other weapons commonly used for hunting, as well as various antique weapons, were also seized. Ammunition for almost all of the weapons was also located in the home.
Lefevre has been arrested on no less than 18 occasions over the last several years for crimes committed in the New Orleans area.
