Four people have been connected to a robbery in which a doggy door provided access for the crooks.

The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Justin Wells, 22, Justin Deshotels, 28, Fleet Hugh Wallace III, and Falaysa Garner, 23. They say the four broke into a home in Denham Springs through a doggy door, and stole sever tens of thousands of dollars in jewelry and firearms.

Detectives say they have not been able to locate much of the missing items because much was sold to Baton Rouge area pawn shops. Additional charges could be facing each of the four individuals for committing fraud against those pawn shops, as they have cost those businesses several thousand dollars as well.
