Burglars take electronics from high school, candy among looted items

Three burglary suspects were caught on camera taking electronics, cash and candy from a local high school.

The Plaquemines Parish Sheriff’s Office reports that the burglary happened at Belle Chase High School on Thursday, Jan. 24 at roughly 1:00 a.m. We’re told the suspects entered through an unsecured door or window and stole two flat screen televisions, cash and candy.

The suspects were wearing disguises to hide their identity, however, officials believe they might be students.

A $2,500 reward is being offered by Crime Stoppers for any information that leads to the arrest of the individuals responsible. If you know anything call (504) 822-1111.
