BRPD investigates armed robbery of Chicken Shack

Baton Rouge Police are investigating the armed robbery of Chicken Shack on North Acadian Thruway,

The robbery happened Tuesday night shortly before 11:00 p.m.

According to a police report, two suspects armed with handguns entered the business through an employee entrance while employees were cleaning.

The suspects demanded money from the registers, took the money, and then left scene.

The first suspect is described as a black male, heavy build, around 18-20 years of age, between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches. He was wearing a light color bandana with a latex glove on his right hand. The suspect was also wearing a blue McKinley High pullover with gray pants.

The second suspect is described as a black male, medium build, around 18-20 years of age, between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 7 inches. He was wearing a black hooded sweat shirt with dark pants and a dark bandana over his face.

There are no reports of injuries related to this incident.
