BRPD: Four arrested in drug roundup

BATON ROUGE, LA — During an ongoing effort to curb the criminal activity within the city limits of Baton Rouge the Brave Unit and the Baton Rouge Narcotic Division conducted several narcotics investigations that led to multiple arrests.
On July 30, both units confiscated one handgun and multitude of varies drugs: 160 grams of marijuana, five grams of synthetic marijuana, four grams of crack cocaine, three grams of powder cocaine, four foil packs of heroin, six grams of heroin, over 80 oxycodone and lortab pills and over $600.
Ricardo Phillips, 31, was charged with three counts of PWID Schedule I, two counts of PWID Schedule II, PWID Schedule III, Possession of Firearm With Drugs and Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon.
Randy Phillips, 29, was charged with two counts of PWID Schedule I, and PWID Schedule II.
Kenneth Sterling, 28, was charged with PWID Schedule I.
Jonathan Shaffer, 52, was charged with PWID Schedule II.
