THIS IS AN NBC33 NEWS UPDATE: The victim in last night's shooting has been identified as Darren Smart, 18, of Baton Rouge. Officials say Smart was shot while attempting to run inside a home on Bradley Street. That’s because two men riding bicycles on the road shot a group of men located outside the home, including Smart. Police believe this may be in retaliation for an incident that occurred a week ago.

ORIGINAL STORY: (09-15-11) Baton Rouge Police are investigating a second fatal shooting tonight, this one on Bradley Street. It happened around 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 15 in the 4700 block of Bradley Street.

Police found a 18-year-old male dead inside the home from a gunshot wound.
