BRPD arrests 16-year-old for accidental shooting death of 14-year-old
BATON ROUGE (NBC33) — Baton Rouge Police have arrested a 16-year-old in connection with the shooting death of Brandon Bindon, 14, of North 48th Street.
According to a police report, Bindon was sitting in the front seat of a parked car while the 16-year-old was playing with a revolver in the back seat.
Police say the gun accidently went off and shot Bindon in the torso.
The victim was taken to a hospital where he later died.
The 16-year-old has been charged with Negligent Homicide and has been booked into Juvenile Detention.
